Sneak peak for those receiving boxed wrapped gifts from us this year! I wanted LL to have a special part in gift wrapping this time around, and after doing some thinking I thought it’d be fun for all parties if LL could PAINT our wrapping paper! So we ventured to Lowes and purchased some red rosin paper and let the fun begin!
The artist rolling her paper in her painter’s shirt (or one of daddy’s rag shirts)
And we paint!
It became a bit messy, but we used water color, so nothing too crazy to worry about.
The artist with her finished product. More to come with the wrapped gifts! Happy Christmas crafting everyone!
We finally got around to taking advantage of the 60° weather in December and had ourselves a little photo shoot out back. I had high hopes of making it to the park, but the sun was fading fast and thankfully theres a wood pile in our back yard, which suited just fine!
She’s adopted one of my old hats as her own, and I am oh so glad! Aren’t you?! Okay, I’m bias to my own.
We were having lots of fun, even though her hands got dirty, or as she likes to say, ‘dotey’.
It didn’t take long for the wagon to become more interesting than sitting on a pile of wood, so we went for a ride and later found some birdies (boh-dees) in the sky.
We love you little lady. You’re growing growing!
Even though it was warm enough for Linners to enjoy the great outdoors, it was a bit too cold for brother to show his face with the cool breeze, so we opted for the chase and flirted inside instead.
Gotta love his sweet hair line.
Happy Fall! More from our mini session on the wood pile to come.
It’s been fun to watch LL’s eyes change, so it’s anyone’s guess where little brother’s eye color will land!
