We had such a wonderful time celebrating the mind-blowing truth that God himself left his thrown in perfect heaven to become a man by being born of a virgin as a baby to dwell with us in our dirty fallen world so that he could teach how to live, to be tempted in every way yet without sin only to give up his life in order to pay the debt that we owed to him, which in all of our efforts we could never repay, by being a perfect, sinless sacrifice in our place, all the while knowing that he would soon conquer sin and death itself by raising himself from the dead so that we too can have the hope of an eternity spent with our maker in his kingdom. Whew! What a thing to celebrate!!! Perhaps I’ll take time to commentate later – for now enjoy the photographs of our eve/morning.
